Pediatric Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Critical Care Resource Team at the University of California, San Francisco. As a member of our team, you will provide exceptional care to critically ill pediatric patients and their families.
Job SummaryThe Pediatric Critical Care Resource Team provides nursing coverage to the Pediatric Critical Care units at the Mission Bay campus. This is a float position, overseeing the care of patients within the 58 bed level IV ICN, the 20 bed PICU, the 18 bed Pediatric Cardiac ICU and the 12 bed Cardiac Transitional Care Unit.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill pediatric patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in pediatric critical care
- Contribute to a culture of safety and quality improvement within the Pediatric Critical Care Resource Team
- Two years recent RN experience in Pediatric Critical Care (PICU, NICU or Peds CICU)
- Active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California
- Active American Heart Association CPR Certification
- Active American Heart Association PALS Certification
- Active NRP Certification; or within six months from first working day
- Two years recent RN experience in two or more Pediatric Critical Care areas (NICU, PICU or PCICU)
