Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Stony Brook University Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and fluoroscopic examinations, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and fluoroscopic examinations, adhering to strict safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
  • Prepare and enter written documentation as required by the department, including informed patient consent and patient chart documentation.
  • Float to all off-sites as needed, including weekends and holidays.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent required.
  • Graduate of a program in Radiologic Technology.
  • NYSDOH License Required.
  • ARRT Required.
  • Computer knowledge preferred.
