We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room team at a leading healthcare facility. This 13-week assignment offers the opportunity to work in a high-paced, Level I Trauma Center that is well-equipped with advanced technology, including Epic EMR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency room setting.
- Quickly assess and triage patients, determining the severity of conditions and prioritizing care accordingly.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, specialists, and support staff, to provide comprehensive care.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic EMR system.
- Educate patients and their families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience in a high-acuity setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC and CEN certifications preferred.
- Proficiency with Epic EMR or similar electronic medical record systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
