Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner III to join our interdisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will conduct thorough patient intakes, screenings, and assessments, considering the unique needs of each patient and their family. You will also provide ongoing education to families and work closely with other specialists to offer comprehensive care, including nutrition evaluation, dietary support, and ongoing medical management.

Responsibilities
  • Complete thorough patient intakes, screenings, and assessments that incorporate the unique characteristics and needs of each patient and family member into the plan of care.
  • Triage referrals for acute needs to other members of the Cortica team.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care for each patient.
  • Utilize the nursing process, scientific reasoning, and critical problem-solving to practice within the scope of responsibilities as defined by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Provide ongoing education to families on a diverse set of topics, including autism, ADHD, anxiety, and sensory processing disorder.
  • Work with our cognitive and behavioral child neurologists and pediatricians to provide ongoing care for attention, sleep, headaches, and challenging behavior, medication management, and medical follow-ups.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of diagnoses and therapies for autism, ADHD, anxiety, and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Minimum of 12 months in pediatric practice in an outpatient setting, preferably in behavioral neurology and/or neurodevelopmental medicine.
  • Proficiency in ADIR/ADOS diagnostic evaluation.
  • Telemedicine skills, including the ability to leverage multiple forms of technology simultaneously.
  • Current and unrestricted license and/or certification required to practice within your clinical domain.

The base pay range for this opening is $137,422 to $171,777, depending on your skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location.
