About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Attorney to join our team at the Texas Municipal Courts Education Center. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in providing education and training programs for municipal judges and court personnel throughout Texas.

This is a full-time position based in Austin, Texas. The salary range for this position is approximately $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include employer-paid health insurance, a 403(b) plan, and a generous paid leave package.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and implement educational programs for judges and court personnel
  • Making presentations, serving as a panelist, and moderating at TMCEC programs
  • Analyzing data to evaluate, plan, and improve programming and content
  • Conducting needs assessments to ensure curriculum designs serve specific target populations
  • Facilitating curriculum development and implementation of curriculum
  • Identifying and proposing potential topics for presentations
  • Developing and organizing agendas and instructional content
  • Recruiting, preparing, developing, and managing faculty
  • Assisting faculty with development of course materials, presentations, and instruction
  • Drafting correspondence and other materials for assigned programs

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
