Position SummaryThe Security Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and guiding security personnel to execute a thorough security strategy that guarantees the safety of employees, visitors, contractors, and company assets. The security operations are conducted continuously throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure appropriate staffing levels for the security team to maintain effective security operations.
- Perform audits of security systems and protocols to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Lead investigations into incidents such as theft, vandalism, and employee misconduct, providing recommendations for action.
- Develop and refine security policies and procedures, ensuring they are current and effective.
- Administer company policies related to performance, attendance, and investigations.
- Implement safety measures for security staff, conducting regular safety meetings and investigating incidents.
- Maintain the integrity of security systems, including surveillance cameras and access control systems.
Basic Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including leadership roles.
- Proficient knowledge of security monitoring systems, emergency response, and investigative practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with effective decision-making and communication abilities.
- High level of interpersonal skills to manage sensitive situations.
- Represent the security department in various meetings and task forces.
- Coordinate security measures for special events.
- This position operates on a swing-shift schedule.
