About the Role:
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families at Northern Light Health. As a CNA on our Medical Surgical Unit, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others while advancing your career in healthcare.
Responsibilities:
Our CNAs provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction of nursing staff, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients, as well as changing linens. You may also transfer or transport patients as needed.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Maine CNA License in good standing, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, you should be adaptable to a fast-paced environment, a strong team player with excellent communication skills, and able to work closely under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
