Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Lead Infant and Toddler Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing educational and care services to infants and toddlers, ages 6 weeks to 24 months. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development and instructional strategies, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide educational and care services to infants and toddlers, ages 6 weeks to 24 months
  • Supervise and support the physical, socio-emotional, and developmental needs of each child in the classroom
  • Develop and implement a creative and age-appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of each child
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure a smooth and successful experience for all
  • Manage the classroom environment to ensure a safe and positive learning experience for all students and staff
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in early childhood education
  • MSDE 90hr Infant/Toddler Certification or CDA Certification with Infant/Toddler Endorsement
  • Excellent understanding of child development and instructional strategies
  • Strong knowledge of MSDE regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
