Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at the Denver Midtown Clinic Diabetes and Endocrinology. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare providers in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and clinical support to healthcare providers, including preparing patients for exams, taking vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Assist with routine tests, such as EKGs, hearing and vision screens, and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Communicate test results to patients and establish plans of care as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medications, and allergies.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification or training preferred.
  • At least three months of experience in a healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting, with occasional exposure to hazardous materials.
