Key Responsibilities
  • Material Receipt and Inspection: Verify the quality and quantity of received materials, ensuring they meet company standards.
  • Inventory Management: Accurately record and update inventory levels, utilizing handheld and tablet devices to track material descriptions and physical properties.
  • Sample Preparation and Testing: Cut samples from mill coils for testing, including tensile, yield, and elongation, as well as Rockwell, Olsen, and chemistry testing.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate equipment such as calipers, micrometers, hand tools, torches, cranes, forklifts, and shears.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge, with opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
Requirements
