Press Operator

The American Metal Stamping Company LLC is seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team in a production role. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of metal stamping presses, ensuring high-quality production and maintaining a safe working environment.

• Press Setup and Operation: Set up and operate metal stamping presses to produce high-quality parts, following established procedures and guidelines.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications and standards.
• Material Handling: Load and unload materials, including coils, using jib cranes, tow motors, or overhead cranes.
• Communication: Collaborate with supervisors and material handlers to coordinate production and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of production, including inspection reports, worksheets, and daily production reports.

• Basic Math Skills: Possess basic math skills to perform calculations and measurements.
• Forklift Experience: Previous experience with forklift operation is preferred but not required.
