- Patient Care Support: Assist anesthesia providers with patient care activities, including preparing patients for anesthesia, monitoring vital signs, and responding to emergencies.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with anesthesia providers, nurses, and other perioperative team members to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; AS degree in Anesthesia Technology or related field preferred.
- Certification: Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.A.T.) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of experience as a Certified Anesthesia Technician, with a strong background in anesthesia equipment maintenance and patient care support.
- Skills: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of anesthesia equipment and supplies; excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
