The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $95,000 per year, with an estimated total compensation of up to $102,916.70, including bonus and overtime.

Job Description

This is a senior-level program management role that requires extensive experience in the automotive industry, specifically in HVAC manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management: Oversee assigned automotive HVAC programs and projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with customer requirements and company goals.
  • Business Development: Develop business cases for new automotive HVAC opportunities that align with company goals and long-term profitability.
  • Project Leadership: Lead profitability-focused automotive HVAC projects from planning to completion, addressing any issues that arise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Scope and Planning: Develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new automotive HVAC initiatives to enhance company profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Communicate program and project milestones, risk assessments, strategies, and business analytical reports to upper-level management to ensure alignment with company standards and support decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with other Program Managers and department heads to identify risks and opportunities across multiple HVAC automotive projects within the program.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years of post-baccalaureate, progressively responsible work experience in roles such as Program Manager, Sr. Plant Process Engineering Manager, Maintenance Engineering Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, Development Engineer, or related positions.
  • Industry Experience: Must have experience in HVAC/manufacturing within the automotive industry.
  • Specific Experience: At least 6 months of work experience with production lines, cycle time optimization, blower balancing machines, helium leak testing machines, flame brazing machines, end-of-line testing machines, PLC program troubleshooting, airflow test bench, calorimeter room, semi-anechoic chamber, thermal chamber, 3D printing, and the development of specific test methods.
