The Nurses Practicing in an Immersive Readiness Environment (NSPIRE) program is a PRE-NCLEX position designed for newly graduated nurses from an accredited institution. This twelve-week practice immersion curriculum prepares nurses for a twelve-month nurse residency program. As a Nurse Apprentice in the NSPIRE program, you will complete clinical immersions, shadow, and be exposed to various clinical environments to gain confidence in the acute care setting.
During this structured program, you will have the opportunity to practice selected skills, gain confidence, and prepare for transition into practice. You will be immersed in an environment to observe the skills and components of being part of the healthcare team. While there will be limited patient interaction, you will have the ability to perform competency-based skills and gain valuable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete clinical immersions and shadow in various clinical environments
- Practice selected skills and gain confidence in the acute care setting
- Gain experience in a structured program with a focus on competency-based skills
