Job Summary:
The Nursing Assistant serves as a caregiver, offering resident-centered nursing support and daily living assistance under the guidance of a registered nurse (RN). Responsibilities include:
  • Delivering age-appropriate care tailored to the physical and psychological needs of residents.
  • Assisting with essential health care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and recording vital signs.

  • Facilitating safe transfers and mobility for residents using proper techniques and equipment.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, with a minimum age of 16. Prior experience in long-term care is preferred. A valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required, with training provided by the facility. Ongoing education and competency testing are essential for maintaining certification.
