Overview:


The P&C Compensation Strategy Consultant serves as a key expert in collaboratively crafting and implementing strategic compensation frameworks (programs, policies, processes, and practices) that align with the objectives of Novant Health.

This role acts as a trusted advisor for job structuring, position classification, and the development of compensation and total rewards proposals, ensuring adherence to salary administration guidelines and regulatory standards.

Accountable for delivering comprehensive compensation consulting to the organization, P&C Business Partners, and team members, this position ensures the effective and efficient execution of compensation initiatives.

Leads the design, development, and integration of systemwide compensation projects and programs. Conducts research on market trends and data to forecast compensation requirements.

Possesses a deep understanding of data sources and analytical methodologies to maintain objectivity, providing data-driven recommendations that support informed decision-making within the business and promote this practice among team members.

Analyzes extensive data sets to identify trends, potential risks, and pay discrepancies for proactive management. Oversees the salary survey process and evaluates results to ensure ongoing equity and market competitiveness. Proposes, implements, and sustains competitive, cost-effective, and legally compliant compensation frameworks.

This role collaborates effectively within the compensation team and partners with HR stakeholders, HRBPs, business leaders, and represents the Total Rewards team by advocating for Novant Health's Compensation philosophy and P&C vision.

Job Relationships:
Reports to and receives assignments from the P&C Director of Compensation.

Qualifications:
Education: 4 year Bachelor's degree, required.


Experience: 7 years in Human Resources, Compensation Management, or Consulting with a comprehensive understanding of core compensation terminology and best practices.


Licensure/Certification:
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CCP, PMP, required.
