Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Pinnacle Home Care Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team of skilled home healthcare providers. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their goals and regain independence in their daily lives.

Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients' functional status, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to improve their ability to perform daily activities. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' functional status and develop treatment plans to improve their ability to perform daily activities.
  • Implement interventions to improve patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities.
  • Work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
  • Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care.
  • Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Participate in discharge planning and ensure patients receive the necessary support and resources for a smooth transition.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Licensed to practice as an OT in the State of Florida.
  • Two years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organization skills.
  • Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order and insured in accordance with the organization's requirements.
