About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Furniture Assembler to join our team at Jordan's Furniture. As a key member of our warehouse staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient assembly and preparation of furniture for delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and prepare furniture for delivery, adhering to high-quality standards and departmental production targets.
  • Inspect merchandise for damages or defects, and report any issues to management.
  • Operate various equipment, including trash compactors, recycling equipment, fork trucks, and electric pallet jacks, to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Transfer and sort trash and recyclable materials, and maintain a clean work area.
  • Unbox and remove recyclables from case goods merchandise.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced physical environment, with frequent lifting of up to 110 pounds.
  • Knowledge of hand and power tools, and ability to maintain a departmental standard.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
  • Reliability and safe work habits.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
