Job Summary

Lexus of Nashville is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Car Wash Attendant/Valet to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greets and welcomes clients in a friendly and courteous manner, and guides them to the appropriate advisor or location.
  • Transports customers to and from their destination when needed and requested.
  • Installs disposable seat covers, floor mats, steering wheel covers, and ID tags in all vehicles brought in for service.
  • Inspects each vehicle for damage prior to parking for service and when retrieving after service for lot damage.
  • Vacuums interior of vehicle to remove loose dirt and debris. Drives vehicle through automatic car wash. Occasionally performs upgrades including applying tire dressing or cleaning windows.
  • Keeps work area and dealership neat and clean and organize supplies and equipment.
  • Helps maintain lot appearance by cleaning driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary.
  • Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner; uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
  • Helps complete daily laundry.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers, management, and service advisors on the status of vehicles or any issues.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Must have dependable transportation.
  • All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report and valid driver's license.
  • Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Follows all safety and security procedures.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 19 years old.
  • Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces.
  • Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Highly professional and dependable.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
  • Must be customer service oriented.
  • Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and team members.
  • Friendly with high energy and the willingness to go above and beyond.
