This role is a key opportunity to contribute to a rapidly expanding company dedicated to excellence in construction and client service.


Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Build and lead project teams, working closely with business development and preconstruction teams to drive new growth and expand opportunities. Ensure your teams are equipped to manage all aspects of project execution and client interaction.
  • Business Development: Collaborate directly with the business development team to secure new projects. Participate in the creation of proposals and presentations. Actively seek out new business opportunities and markets to expand the company's portfolio.
  • Financial Management: Manage project financials, including full project P&L responsibility, budget development, cost control, and financial reporting. Ensure projects are completed within budget and meet financial targets while identifying and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders. Engage with clients to understand their needs and ensure they are met throughout the project lifecycle, fostering long-term relationships to drive repeat business.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor teams of Senior Project Managers and Project Managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Issue Resolution: Act quickly to address and mentor teams on issues, ensuring they do not escalate into legal problems. Proactively recognizing and resolving potential issues is crucial to success.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field required; Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on industrial and commercial projects.
  • Contract Experience: Experience with fixed-price contracts for municipal, state, or federal projects is highly preferred.
  • Project Value: Proven experience managing commercial construction projects valued at $40 million or more.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $170,000 - $195,000 Base + Performance-based bonus of 12% of annual salary
