What You'll Do at Monteith

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the development of multiple construction projects. You will oversee the organization, scheduling, and implementation of these projects, ensuring that they are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet regularly with the Owner and Architect to keep them informed of project status and budget items.
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage and analyze project budgets and costs to maximize project return.
  • Review and approve drawings and specifications to ensure design deficiencies, impractical details, and possible code violations are addressed.
  • Manage and approve Monteith and subcontractor billings to mitigate financial risk and maximize cash flow.
  • Review and approve project submittals to ensure accurate installation of products.
  • Manage project documents in Procore, our project management software.
  • Coordinate subcontractor labor and material deliveries, and analyze project schedules to ensure on-time project delivery.
  • Buy out trade contracts to minimize cost and ensure accurate scope.
  • Co-lead meetings with the Superintendent and communicate with the project team to ensure accurate and on-time project delivery.
Experience You Should Have

We are looking for individuals with a minimum of 3-5 years of construction project management experience. Relevant experience or a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is also required. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are essential. Experience with project management software, such as Procore or Newforma, is strongly preferred. Ability to read and understand construction schedules, and experience with Primavera P6, is also a plus. LEED AP or LEED training is encouraged. Ability to work non-traditional hours and travel within the Carolinas is required.

Pay Range

The pay range for this role is $75,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
