Job Description

Westinghouse is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Power Plant Systems Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing Probabilistic Risk Assessments (PRA) for complex nuclear power plant systems.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project teams to evaluate plant potential vulnerability to all risk and hazard types
  • Provide direct PRA support for day-to-day plant operations and PRA applications implementation
  • Support and identify strategic initiatives, develop product offerings and pursue target product markets
  • Present technical topics and interface with global customers and regulatory bodies

Requirements:

  • At minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear, or Chemical)
  • 10+ years professional experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of nuclear power plant experience
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience with PRA Model development applied to nuclear plants
  • Knowledge of PWR reactor operations
  • Proficiency with PRA software (CAFTA, RiskSpectrum)
  • Peer Review experience
