Key Responsibilities
  • Take and record vital signs, medical history, and patient symptoms accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist providers during examinations and treatments, ensuring a seamless patient experience.
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by providers, maintaining the highest standards of patient safety.
  • Collect lab specimens and perform basic lab tests, contributing to timely and accurate diagnoses.
  • Verify and update patient information in electronic medical records, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Prepare and clean exam rooms before and after patient visits, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Educate patients on medications, treatments, and self-care procedures, promoting patient empowerment and understanding.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in healthcare principles.
  • CPR/BLS certification preferred, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Proficient computer skills, with experience in electronic medical records a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
