Medical Assistant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Medical Assistant to join our team at MedMan. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare providers and patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and escort patients to examination rooms, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other pertinent information accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Complete all required charting and documentation according to clinic guidelines and protocols.
  • Administer injections, draws blood, removes sutures and staples, and completes necessary forms according to clinic policies and procedures.
  • Answer patient calls with clinically related questions, providing ongoing care and treatment under the direction of the healthcare provider.
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA.
Requirements:
  • Proven working experience as a medical assistant.
  • Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Social perceptiveness and service-oriented attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • High school diploma; some college preferred.
  • Medical assistant certification.
  • At least one year's experience in a clinic setting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • EHR experience preferred.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel to various clinic sites in Treasure Valley.
