Job Summary
We are seeking a Mental Health Tech II to join our team at ORMC. As a Mental Health Tech II, you will perform general nursing care to patients under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care services, including vital sign collection and documentation
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Qualifications
• Associate's degree in psychology, education, child development or a healthcare-related field; or two (2) years' experience as a Mental Health Technician, Psychology Technician, Psychiatric Technician, Behavioral Health Technician, or related field
• Maintain current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Must obtain and maintain current Handle with Care (HWC) Certification within 90 days of hire

Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, Orlando Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement savings options and paid time off.
