Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our mental health department, you will provide comprehensive evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care for patients with mental health conditions. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping us achieve our goal of transforming the healthcare landscape in Central Florida.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health conditions, including diagnostic evaluations and history reviews.
  • Prescribe, adjust, and monitor medications to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that cater to each patient's unique needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records.
  • Stay current with the latest developments in psychiatry through ongoing professional development and training.

Requirements:

  • Valid APRN or PA license in Florida.
  • Board certification in psychiatric/mental health specialty.
  • Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies.
  • Current DEA registration.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
