Position Summary

Outpatient Registered Nurse, Sleep Medicine

Shift: Full Time, 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday

We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse with extensive experience in patient care and a solid understanding of the needs of specific patient populations.

  • Utilizes acquired knowledge, theoretical frameworks, research, and practical experience to adapt to evolving clinical situations.
  • Applies the Synergy Model for Care in practice, personalizing care for each patient and their family.
  • Independently delivers safe, reliable, and effective care to a designated patient population using the nursing process.
  • Assesses patient responses to planned interventions and modifies care plans as necessary.
  • Integrates the AACN Synergy Model into everyday clinical practice.
  • Collects, reports, analyzes, and provides data consistently as required by physicians and interdisciplinary teams in accordance with organizational standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with at least 12 months of recent nursing experience within the last five years or completion of a re-entry nursing program.
  • Must possess a valid, active, unencumbered Nursing license or a temporary permit approved by the relevant licensing board.
  • BLS certification is required; ACLS certification may be necessary in specific departments.
  • Exceptions: Current LPNs within the organization who complete an accredited RN program and obtain RN licensure will be considered for transition to the Nurse Clinician title while participating in the Resident program.
