Patient Care Technician

As a Patient Care Technician at RMA Renal Treatment Centers - Mid Atlantic, Inc., you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in our outpatient dialysis centers. With a focus on empathy and compassion, you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Patient Care Technician. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced healthcare professionals to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Direct Patient Care: Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment.
- Technician Duties: Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
- Building Relationships: Develop long-term relationships with your patients who are suffering from end-stage renal disease and are receiving treatment on average 3 times a week.
- Education: Educate patients on kidney dialysis-related topics.
