Job Summary

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Construction Security Specialist to join our team. As a Construction Security Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of technical and physical security of multiple construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site inspections and observations to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and implement physical and technical security practices and procedures to mitigate identified risks.
  • Produce detailed reports and documents using Microsoft Office software to ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Identify and report unauthorized materials and activities on construction sites.
  • Operate technical security devices and systems to monitor and control access to sensitive areas.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of security protocols.
Requirements
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to upgrade as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Background in security practices, including executive protection, physical security, and personnel security.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel to different site locations and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior military experience with a background in technical surveillance, construction, and security operations.
  • Knowledge of construction safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and construction project management software.
  • OCONUS experience and a valid passport.
