We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration/HVAC Specialist to join our team at Walmart. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the maintenance and repair of our facilities' HVAC/R equipment.
About the RoleThis position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or a construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls, or 4 years of experience with Type I/Type II EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling. A vocational or technical HVAC/R certification is also preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair HVAC/R equipment and assets by utilizing commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills and hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls promptly and perform inspections, cleaning, and repairs as needed.
- Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders and document repair activities.
The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00-$45.00* and includes premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Additional benefits include paid time off, health insurance, 401(k) matching, and more.
