Position Summary: The Senior Financial Operations Manager will play a crucial role in guiding the financial strategy and operations of the organization. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Operations Manager:

  • Formulate and oversee the annual budgeting process and financial forecasts.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis to assess discrepancies between actual performance and financial plans.
  • Compile and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to executive leadership.
  • Manage daily financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Facilitate internal and external audits, maintaining productive relationships with auditors.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to enhance business decisions.
  • Examine market dynamics, competitor activities, and economic indicators impacting the organization.
  • Assist in financial modeling and due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify financial risks and develop strategies for mitigation.
  • Establish robust internal controls to protect company assets.

Qualifications for the Senior Financial Operations Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; MBA or CPA is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Finance Manager or comparable position.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and analytical techniques.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong leadership qualities and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
