Position Summary: The Senior Financial Operations Manager will play a crucial role in guiding the financial strategy and operations of the organization. This position is essential for maintaining the fiscal integrity of the company through effective budget management, financial analysis, and comprehensive reporting.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Operations Manager:

  • Formulate and oversee the annual budgeting process and financial forecasts.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis to assess discrepancies between actual performance and financial plans.
  • Compile and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to executive leadership.
  • Manage daily financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Facilitate internal and external audits, maintaining productive relationships with auditors.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to enhance business decisions.
  • Examine market dynamics, competitor activities, and economic indicators impacting the organization.

Qualifications for the Senior Financial Operations Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; MBA or CPA is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Finance Manager or comparable position.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and analytical techniques.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong leadership qualities and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
