Submarine Electronic Warfare Systems Specialist

Amentum is seeking a skilled and experienced Submarine Electronic Warfare Systems Specialist to join our team. This position involves the installation, testing, and maintenance of advanced electronic warfare systems on submarines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing and monitoring electronic warfare systems and equipment at client sites

• Performing tests and evaluations to ensure system functionality and performance

• Troubleshooting and repairing electronic warfare systems and equipment

• Developing technical documentation and procedures for system maintenance and operation

• Collaborating with customers to ensure system requirements are met

Requirements:

  • Active Secret US Government Clearance
  • Five years of experience in electronics or a related field, or three years of experience with an Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology or a related field
  • Experience with electronic warfare systems and equipment
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with VA Class SSN systems
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret US Government Clearance

Benefits:

This is an hourly, overtime-eligible position that falls under the Service Contract Act (SCA). In accordance with the Health and Welfare provisions of the SCA, and in addition to your base hourly rate, you may be eligible to receive an additional health and welfare payment for each hour you work to ensure compliance with the minimums set forth by the act.
