Job Summary

JRC Integrated Systems, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Integration Engineer to support the advanced weapons system research and development program. The selected candidate will be responsible for systems engineering integration and testing efforts, providing engineering-based services to the technical division of Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) and Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane.

Key Responsibilities
  • Systems Engineering Integration: Perform shipyard installation testing-based services in support of SSP's advanced weapons system program, including test authoring, requirements management, system level test conduct support, generating test reports, and developing and tracking test metrics.
  • Data Management: Conduct data/information management, ensuring accurate and timely data collection and dissemination.
  • Configuration Management: Assist with configuration management of test procedures, ensuring compliance with established standards and guidelines.
  • Issue Resolution: Support resolution of shipyard test issues and system level interface management, working closely with program stakeholders to resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Technical Documentation: Review and interact with weapon system models in SYSML, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with established standards.
  • Program Reporting: Collect and develop program status and metrics updates for senior leader and external program reporting, providing timely and accurate information to stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with program stakeholders, including other customer contractors/partners, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Technical Writing: Provide technical input to and author program documents, ensuring clear and concise communication of technical information.
  • Documentation Development: Develop and review documentation and supporting material for technical accuracy, including robust Microsoft Excel files.
  • Formatting and Style: Format specifications, directives, and correspondence in accordance with Navy manual, ensuring consistency and compliance with established standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or commensurate years of experience.
  • Experience: 1+ years of relative experience in systems engineering and integration.
  • Security Clearance: Active SECRET Security Clearance (or above) or have held an active security clearance within the past 2 years.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical writing, documentation, and Excel skills, with excellent communication and presentation development skills.
  • Schedule Development: Knowledge with schedule development and evaluation.
  • Teamwork and Independence: Demonstrates a willingness to work in a team environment and the ability to work independently while prioritizing and supporting multiple tasks.
  • Customer Focus: Ability to assess and meet the customer's needs.
  • Travel: Ability to support required travel (up to 10%).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE): Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), MagicDraw, and/or Cameo.
