We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Specialty department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and assist the provider to ensure quality and cost-effective service and care for patients within the cardiac patient population.
- Serve as a leader of the healthcare team by establishing an authentic and personalized relationship with patients and their chosen support system.
- Collaborate with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health or supports a peaceful death.
- Utilize best scientific evidence and compassion to assist patients in navigating their health journey.
- Accept responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care in accordance with current policies and procedures.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree; if license has been inactive, retired, or lapsed for five years or more, successful completion of a Board-approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating the license.
- Experience: Telemetry, CCU, Cardiac Step-down Unit experience required; experience in Physician Practice Environment and Coumadin Dosing required.
- Licensure/Certification: Current RN license in the appropriate state required; refer to Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096.
