Job Summary

We are seeking a Part Time Gas Station Attendant to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club. As a Gas Station Attendant, you will be responsible for the daily operation of the gas station, performing opening and closing procedures, monitoring and maintaining gas station equipment, assisting members with gas station transactions and payments, and complying with safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including counting cash and reconciling transactions
  • Monitor and maintain gas station equipment, including pumps and tanks
  • Assist members with gas station transactions and payments, including processing credit card transactions and handling customer complaints
  • Comply with safety and environmental regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials and adherence to company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a gas station or retail environment preferred
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
