Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Dispatcher to serve as a critical link between our clients and service technicians at Absolute. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage calls, schedule appointments, and resolve issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and prioritize incoming service calls after hours, ensuring timely dispatch of technicians to service locations based on urgency and geographic proximity.
  • Maintain open communication with technicians to guarantee timely arrival and completion of service calls, while coordinating with clients to schedule maintenance and repair appointments for the following day.
  • Monitor and respond to emergency situations, escalating issues as necessary, and document all service calls, including details of the problem, actions taken, and solutions provided.
  • Collaborate with other dispatchers and supervisors to ensure seamless transition of responsibilities between shifts, adhering to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in dispatching, preferably in a service-oriented industry, with knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems a plus.
  • Proficiency in using dispatching software (Great Plains) and other relevant technology, with strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with flexibility to work daytime shift(s) as needed.
