Compensation: $28 - $38 per hour

Position Summary:

MalaceHR is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician with 3-5 years of relevant experience. The technician will collaborate closely with the Site Leader to ensure high-quality service and uphold professional standards within the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to service requests for heating and cooling issues, providing timely feedback to clients.
  2. Utilize Building Automation Systems (BAS) for monitoring and managing HVAC operations.
  3. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment.
  4. Assist with minor plumbing, electrical, and mechanical tasks as required.
  5. Participate in snow removal activities as needed, including shoveling and salting.
  6. Be available for emergency response during off-hours.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen with a valid driver's license.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC maintenance.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
  • Must pass a comprehensive drug screening and background check.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in HVAC maintenance and repair, including troubleshooting and preventive measures.
  • Experience with building automation systems and energy management.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to oversee subcontractors and maintain service records.

Additional Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • EPA-approved CFC certification is mandatory; a Journeyman license is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of various HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, and fan coil units.
