Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of patient care services, including collecting patient information, preparing exam rooms, and assisting providers with patient exams and procedures.
  • Administer injections and immunizations, and perform phlebotomy as needed.
  • Provide patient education and clerical support, including data entry and basic math skills.
  • Work effectively in a high-volume patient environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA within one month of hire.
  • Completion of an accredited educational program for the medical assistant.
  • Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and provide confidentiality.
  • Reliable transportation required.
