Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer and Team Leader to join our Civil and Geotechnical Engineering practice in Santa Clara, CA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading project teams, managing technical staff, and driving business growth through strategic client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams and manage technical staff to deliver high-quality results
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to drive business growth
  • Manage project budgets and ensure profitability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and improvement
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering
  • Professional engineering registration
  • 8+ years of experience leading project teams and managing technical staff in a Seller/Doer business model
  • Proven track record of business development, business management, and oversight of regional businesses
  • Strong business acumen and attributes, coupled with a commitment to TRC Values: Safety, Quality, Integrity, Creativity, Accountability, Teamwork, and Passion
Preferred Qualifications
  • Recent client relationships in the Northern California/San Francisco Bay Area markets providing consulting services for geotechnical engineering, construction services, solid waste management, remediation, and/or renewable energy development markets
  • Master of Science degree in Geotechnical Engineering
