NVIDIA is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Software Leader to lead our CUDA kernel mode teams. As a key member of our software leadership team, you will be responsible for developing strategic direction for the group and fostering software quality improvement for CUDA kernel mode components deployed on multiple products/systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive software deliverables for CUDA kernel mode teams
  • Lead a dedicated and dynamic team of kernel engineers to deliver innovative system software features
  • Prioritize planning, scheduling, and leading the execution of all projects and activities
  • Apply technical leadership and management knowledge to drive team performance and success

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in the software industry with specializations in firmware and system software
  • 10+ years in strong technical leadership positions (technical director, senior architect)
  • 5+ years as Director of engineering level managing large (30+) and distributed teams
  • MS, or Ph.D. in CS, EE (related technical field) or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of operating system internals, memory management, C/C++/Assembly languages, and system software concepts
  • Familiarity with Pre-silicon/Post-silicon SW development life cycle and tools
  • Practical experience leading SoC/ASIC/BIOS firmware development, SW development for x86/ARM CPU and/or GPUs families
