The Electric Power Distribution Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical distribution systems and associated equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical principles and experience working with low-voltage systems.
Responsibilities- Install, maintain, modify, and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated equipment, including low-voltage systems.
- Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches, switchgears, VFDs, and motor controllers.
- Complete work orders and record material used on jobs.
- Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned projects.
- Surveys, maintains, and upgrades electrical systems and plans, including generating record drawings and as-built plans.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility satisfactorily. Requirements include:
- 21 years of age or above.
- Journeyman Electrician Certification required.
- OSHA 10 Hour preferred.
- Valid Massachusetts Driver License Preferred.
- High school or equivalent degree required. Successful completion of an apprenticeship, vocational/trade program, or college courses required.
- Minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience required.

Estimated SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
