At Helion Energy, we are pushing the boundaries of clean energy with our innovative fusion power technology. As a Power Electronics Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing high-voltage electrical power systems for our fusion generators.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced engineer to support the core energy management system for our fusion generators. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and troubleshooting high-voltage electrical power systems, as well as overseeing the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of high-power electrical systems.

As a member of our Electrical Engineering team, you will work closely with operators to develop electrical system architecture, produce electrical schematics and installation drawings, and collaborate on design projects to ensure cost-effective, scalable, and reliable solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in power systems engineering or high-power, high-voltage pulsed power systems up to 40kV, especially in the system requirement and design phases. A Bachelor's or Master's level degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field is required.
