We are seeking a highly skilled RF/Microwave Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies that will enable human life on Mars.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF/Microwave engineering and experience in simulating and modeling RF front-end systems, as well as working with System Architects, Modem/DSP and ASIC engineers to partition functions between HW and SW domains.

Responsibilities will include deriving RF HW specifications for the RF system and RF blocks, developing RF/Microwave circuits, components and MMICs, evaluating and characterizing prototypes and RF components, and characterizing and analyzing full radio performance.

The successful candidate will also have experience in leading the development of automated test equipment for lab measurements and will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering, 2+ years of work experience, and 2+ years of experience using Agilent ADS, Genesys, HFSS or AWR Microwave Office.

Preferred skills and experience include a Master's of Science or PhD in electrical engineering with emphasis in RF/Microwave integrated circuits design, understanding of RF passive components, knowledge of digital communication systems, and experience in analysis and simulation of both linear and non-linear circuits.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience in Python and/or Labview programming for test automation, RF/microwave design in the Ku-band, K-band, and Ka-band frequency range, and familiarity with radio related test equipment.
