Position Overview

Job Title: Paraprofessional

Employment Type: Contract, Full-time

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document student information as instructed by the Behavior Supervisor or Special Education Teacher.
  • Exhibit patience, adaptability, and professionalism when interacting with students, supervisors, and fellow staff members.
  • Demonstrate excellent attendance and dependability.
  • Assist specialists in preparing students for school readiness and pre-academic activities, promoting social engagement during breaks and group sessions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • Prior experience with behavioral needs in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Experience as a Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is advantageous.
