Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous Surgical Instrument Technician to uphold the cleanliness and sterilization of surgical instruments in accordance with established industry protocols and standards. This position encompasses a range of duties including equipment upkeep, stock management, and strict compliance with safety regulations.

Primary Duties:
  • Process requests from various medical departments
  • Sanitize and verify the operational status of instruments
  • Manage inventory and replenish supplies as needed
  • Assemble surgical case carts for operating room procedures
  • Deliver outstanding customer service
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing or surgical technology
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited training program
  • Relevant certification (CBSPD or CST)
  • Understanding of sterilization methods and infection prevention
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Basic proficiency in computer usage
Work Schedule:
  • Availability for alternate weekends is required
