We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing direct health care services to our patients, synthesizing theoretical scientific and contemporary clinical knowledge for the assessment and management of both health and illness states.

The primary care provided consists of evaluation of normal and abnormal findings, initiation of treatments, and coordinating the discharge process. These functions will be performed in accordance with the Standardized Procedures approved by the Mercy General Hospital Committee for Credentials and Interdisciplinary Practices and Cardiology section.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a current California Nurse Practitioner license, completion of an accredited program for Nurse practitioners and certification as Nurse Practitioner, and a Master's degree (or appropriate certificate). Current BLS and ACLS certifications are also required. Preferred qualifications include experience as an acute care Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner.
