Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, processing and dispensing prescription orders, and counseling patients on their medication needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including processing and dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and counseling patients on their medication needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance and provide the highest level of care.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient and effective operations, including inventory management, supply chain logistics, and quality control.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical knowledge and skills, staying current on the latest treatments, medications, and technologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a retail pharmacy setting, with a focus on patient care and customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
