About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Behavioral Intervention Specialist who will play a crucial role in providing direct behavioral management consultation services. This position involves working closely with clients, their families, and our staff to develop effective strategies tailored to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive functional assessments of behavior for each client.
- Maintain a productive level of service delivery.
- Provide training to staff on behavior management techniques.
- Implement, coordinate, monitor, document, evaluate, and revise behavior programs as directed by management.
- Engage professionally with parents, educators, and other service providers.
- Stay updated on the latest treatment methodologies and regulatory practices.
- Document behavioral management services through detailed monthly reports.

Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in applied behavioral analysis, social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field approved by DCS.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to meet background screening requirements.
- No felony convictions or criminal offenses involving vulnerable populations.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and physical assessment.
Physical and Sensory Requirements:
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical mobility, including standing or sitting for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs, and operating office equipment.
- Normal visual and auditory range with or without correction.
