Job Title: Junior Software Quality Assurance Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Mom's Meals. As a Junior QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products by identifying and reporting defects, creating test plans and cases, and collaborating with the development team to resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software meets requirements
- Perform manual testing to identify bugs and ensure software meets requirements
- Support the development and execution of automated tests, develop and maintain test automation plans, tools, and assets
- Plan and schedule test events, integration events, and software data gathering efforts
- Document test efforts, software product status, software bugs, and operational incidents
- Perform or direct debugging efforts and classification of software issues and provide feedback and recommendations to software developers
- Conduct regression testing to ensure new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality
- Work closely with the development team to understand project requirements and ensure quality standards are met
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 1+ years Quality Assurance or Test Development and Execution experience in a software development, resource planning IT, customer service IT, or healthcare IT
- Basic understanding of software development and QA methodologies
- Knowledge of test planning and documentation processes
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments, Salesforce, SQL databases, C# applications, or Microsoft 365 applications
- Strong ability to document bugs and issues in various software products developed in multiple languages or environments
- Excellent time management skills
- Capability to interact with several levels of business partners in an efficient and professional manner
- Knowledge of security, policy, regulatory, and contractual compliance implementation, and validation
- Multitasking and communications skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and business unit relationships simultaneously in a rapid development environment
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and requirements
- Unparalleled self-motivation and an ability to work efficiently with minimal direct oversight
- Ability to work as an effective member of a fast-moving, responsive software development team
Physical Requirements:
- Repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
