Job Title: ICU Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled ICU Nurse Specialist to join our team at MedPro Healthcare Staffing. As a travel ICU RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Summary:

The ICU Nurse Specialist will be responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. You will work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient's vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration.
  • Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
  • Meticulously document patient care and medication administration.
  • Assist in emergency nursing procedures, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Requirements:
  • Active RN license.
  • Degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting.
